About Me

1st November 2020.

I had planned to update my "About Me" page and after hitting the wrong key, I managed to delete the whole thing without having the opportunity to rescue it. The plus side is giving me the change to tell everyone what I'm up to NOW, rather than altering bits and bobs along the way.

I'm Lynn, although, for my book blogging purpose, I use Ellesea and for my writing, I'm Linn Seanor. I'm British, born and bred in Hull, East Yorkshire. I now live in Southern Norway with my Norwegian husband and son.

Since 2014, I've been a book blogger, promoting and reviewing for both traditional and indie authors. Around the same time, I also began writing myself. My first manuscript is a fan-fiction novel and one for my eyes only. Every November since 2016, I've taken part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and have won each time...I have the t-shirts as proof.  I'm still unpublished but as of January 2020, I'm (hopefully) going to change that, especially as I've got quite a few manuscripts doing nothing!

At the beginning of the year, I became a member of The Romantic Novelists's Association as part of their New Writers' Scheme. It's time to begin looking at publishing options and gaining as much information as is required before dipping my author toes. The shift over to writing means I'm not reading and reviewing as much as before although I'm keeping my blog running on a "see how it goes" basis,

Therefore, I'm only posting and reviewing what I know I can manage and that means I'm no longer accepting ad-hoc requests for reviews. If however, circumstances change, I'll update my terms on this page.

  3. Hi Lynn

Many thanks for publishing my Guest Post and taking part in my Birthday Blog Tour for. I really appreciate it. We do have some things in common - I lived in Norway (Oslo) for 5 years and love the country. My daughter now lives there (Harstad), married to a Norwegian. I also did NaNoWriMo in 2012 - which is where 'A Taste of his own Medicine' was born! But I've not done it multiple times, like you - congratulations. Many thanks again - Linda
