Mistletoe, holly, and cowboys, oh my! Christmas in Texas has never been sweeter.

Years ago, Chase Morgan traded in his dusty cowboy boots for the shimmering lights of New York City and a fast track up the corporate ladder. But when his shiny life is turned on end just in time for Christmas, Chase knows he needs to reevaluate even if that means going home to Texas to endure his least favorite holiday.

When Mr. Tall, Dark, and Smoking Hot walks through her door at the Magic Box Guest Ranch, Faith Walker sees just another handsome, rich exec looking to play cowboy for a week-at her expense. She’s sure the grumpy, but sexy as hell Scrooge will put a crimp in her holly jolly plans. Until a sizzling kiss has her seeing him in a new light.

Chase is haunted by secrets, and even though it goes entirely against her “hands off the guests” rule Faith is tempted to help him leave the past behind. As the magic of the season swirls around them, she is determined to succeed because now she is certain one sweet, cowboy Christmas will never be enough.

Sweet Cowboy Christmas is perfect for an evening snuggled up with a warm drink. A short comfort read leaving you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Chase Morgan's life is thrown into turmoil after a health scare makes him re-think his whole lifestyle including his prestigious career. A decision that would take him back to the life he left behind, to face up to the hurt that drove him away in the first place.

Faith Walker is a determined and generous woman, juggling a successful business pampering the rich and pretentious at her Magic Box Guest Ranch. In addition she organises charitable events to create a perfect Christmas for children and their families less fortunate than herself. It all keeps her busy to distract herself from remembering her past and broken heart.

When Chase arrives at The Magic Box Guest Ranch, the last thing on his mind was women, specifically one woman, who is very presumptive about what kind of man he is. Faith is instantly drawn to the handsome new guest at her ranch. But seeing him in his designer suit reminded her that men like him need to be avoided. Besides he is only staying for 10 days...

I love the easy banter between Chase and Faith, both are fun, likable and well developed, as are all the supporting characters. This is the first book I've read by the author, and will definitely read the other books in the series, as I enjoyed the easy light-hearted writing style, with a hint of sizzle too. If I had to say anything negative then it would be that I wished this was a full length book and not a novella.

12 DAYS OF SWEET BLOG TOUR—Candis Terry

DAY 9:

Annie Morgan (from Truly Sweet--a summer 2015 release)
When I’m not waitressing at Bud’s Nothing Finer Diner or flirting with the always hot Jake Wilder, I have a side business making hand-dipped chocolates to help support my young son. Not an easy task with a one-year-old running around. For my family (and a certain sexy Marine) I like to make something deliciously simple. I hope you’ll like it too.

Rolo Pretzel Turtle Bites

Ingredients:
1 (11 oz) bag of Rolos Caramel Candy
Pecan Halves (I used about 1/2 pound)
Small Pretzels (about 50)

Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lay pretzels all over cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Put a Rolo on top of each pretzel. Place in oven and cook for 3-4 minutes. Pull out of the oven and press a pecan half gently onto each Rolo. Let them set up so you can transfer them to a plate (pop them in the fridge if you want them to set-up quickly!).
  • Put them in a cute cellophane bag for a quick and yummy Christmas goody for your neighbors. (Allergic to nuts or just don’t like them? You can add an M & M candy or another pretzel on top!)

Blog Stop: A Very Grey Christmas by T.A. Foster.

A VERY GREY CHRISTMAS
by T.A. Foster

Kissing Eden, book #3
November 2014

I was getting ready to spend the single most important holiday of the year alone. Completely and utterly alone.
That meant he wouldn’t be there Christmas Eve. No making Christmas cookies, or listening to my dad sing off-key while my mom bustled around wrapping last-minute gifts. No decorating the tree. No midnight Christmas kiss.
No waking up in Grey’s arms. We were actually going to spend our very first Christmas in different states.
That was until Grey gave me the most unexpected gift of my life.

T.A. Foster once spent a monthlong spring break on South Padre Island, where she soaked in the Texas sun, beach, and learned what real Texas country music is. Sometimes fiction does spring from reality.

She grew up catching rays and chasing waves along the North Carolina Outer Banks and now resides in the state with her adventurous pilot husband, two children, and two canine kiddos.

T.A. has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. When she’s not chasing her two-legged and four-legged children or trying to escape for date night, you can find her reading, writing, or planning her next beach trip.
