At Boomerang, one night can change everything…

Adam Blackwood has it all. At twenty-two, he’s fabulously wealthy, Ryan Gosling-hot and at the top of his game in the business world. His life is perfect, until a scandal from his past resurfaces and threatens to knock the tech wunderkind down and throw his company, Boomerang, a hook-up site for millennials, into chaos.

Alison Quick, the twenty-one-year-old daughter of a business tycoon—and the very ex-girlfriend of Boomerang’s former intern, Ethan—has a problem of her own. That means spearheading her father’s plan to sink big money into Adam’s company and launch it into the stratosphere—provided Adam has no skeletons in his closet.

When the two meet, their sizzling chemistry makes it tough to keep things strictly professional. But when Alison discovers Adam’s secret, she knows she should bring it right to her father, who’ll leverage it for his own gain and use it to ruin Adam. The only problem: she’s falling for Adam—hard.

Will earning her father’s approval come at the price of losing her first real love? Or can Adam and Alison leave behind past mistakes and conquer the world—together?

Cover Reveal: Blindsided by Emma Hart

Emma Hart's brand new series BY HIS GAME starts off with this explosive first book Blindsided!

RELEASE DATE: January 12, 2015

From Emma Hart, the New York Times bestselling author of the Game series, comes a brand new series where the game is realer, the tension is tighter, the sex is hotter, and the stakes are the highest of all…

Two people. Two agendas. Two games.

What happens when the out-there It-Boy of football meets the secret It-Girl of fashion?

As the daughter of Hollywood’s sweetheart, Leah Veronica can’t even buy a coffee without finding her face on a magazine stand, so it’s no wonder she’s launching her first fashion line in secret. With it debuting at New York Fashion Week in just under a month, extra time in the spotlight is the last thing she needs.

The son of the best quarterback the league has ever seen,
filling legendary shoes as the L.A. Vipers’ quarterback was inevitable for Corey Jackson. So was meeting Leah Veronica—the first girl to hand him his ass without putting a hair out of place.

Getting the handsome, prickly blonde into his bed becomes his number one goal. But getting the sexy, over-confident footballer the hell away from her becomes Leah’s—at least until she realizes the best way to do that is to give him what he wants.

If only it was that simple.

When Corey discovers who she is, and private photos of Hollywood’s finest find their way online, everything they thought they knew is thrown into disarray.

And when secrets are exposed and hearts are shattered, they have to figure out if they’ve been blindsided by love or reality, and if it’s worth running the extra yard to win the game they never meant to play.

Leah’s Great Aunt Ada has been staring at me all night. I’m hovering somewhere between cute and creepy, because she has the most adorable little grin she shoots my way whenever I catch her looking. Crow’s feet appear at the corners of her eyes, and her cheeks flush just a little.
I think she might have a crush on me.
Again, hovering between cute and creepy.
“Aunt Ada. Will you please stop looking at him like he’s dessert?” Leah sighs, taking Ada’s plate from in front of her.
“Stop hooking up with Bert? Whoever is Bert?” Ada replies, looking genuinely confused.
I quirk my eyebrow, and Grace leans across the table.
“Hearing aid, Ada.”
The old woman blinks, then slips her hand into her pocket. She pulls out a small, nude-colored device and fits it to her ear. “Now, Lele, what was that you were saying about hooking up with Bert?”
Lele?
Leah catches my eye and gives me a death stare. “I didn’t say anything about Bert. I asked you to stop looking at Corey like he’s dessert.”
“He isn’t?” I cough into my hand.
“Ada, it’s late. I think you should, perhaps, go to bed now.” Grace winks at me and stands.
“But we haven’t danced.”
“People don’t dance at dinner now, Aunt Ada,” Leah tells her. “They eat, they drink, they go home.”
“Well, how boring. You young’uns don’t know how to have a good time.”
Grace swoops Ada out of the kitchen with her still muttering about ‘kids today.’
“Oh, they do,” Leah murmurs, loading the dishwasher. “They
just don’t invite old people along.”
I grin. “Do you need any help?”
She shakes her head instead of answering me verbally. She hasn’t said a fucking word to me since she rebuffed my offer of a date. Even through dinner, she managed to contribute to the conversation without directing a single sentence at me. And it’s slowly starting to really, really piss me off.
I watch her scrape the plates into the trash then bend over and put them in the dishwasher. Her dress rides up her legs, the hem hovering at the very top of her thighs. If she bends over another half an inch, her underwear will be fully exposed to me. So will her ass, and if she’s that kind of girl,
maybe her pussy, too.
My cock twitches at the thought. Fuck—I want to go over there and see. I want to flick that stupid fucking dress up and see what kind of underwear she wears, and if that doesn’t make me hard imagining it…
“Are you staring at my ass?” she asks, her words slicing
through the silence easily but sharply.
“On a scale of one to ten, how honestly do you want me to answer that?”
“Very honestly.” My eyes coast over her smooth skin. “About a fifty.”
She slams the dishwasher shut and turns. “Seriously? Is me telling you to cut the crap an open invitation to ogle me?”
“No, but you wearing a dress that short and bendin’ over is.”
Her lips thin. “And you wonder why I won’t go out with you.”
“Maybe I’m not bothered.”
“Yeah?” She rests her hands flat on the table opposite me and leans over. “So why’ve you been looking at me all evening like I’m a math puzzle you can’t figure out?”
“Because you confuse the fuck out of me.” I hold her gaze.
“One night you don’t want me. The next, you’re in my arms, fucking whimpering into my mouth. Then not even twenty-four hours later, you’re tellin’ me where to go. That’s why I keep looking at you.” My eyes drop to her tits. “That and you’re hot as hell.”
She stares at me until I bring my eyes back up to hers.
“Wow. And that right there is why I just told you ‘no’ when you asked me out.”
She pushes off the table and stalks away from me.
“What the hell are you so mad for?” I get up and follow her out to the back yard. “You’re the one sending me more messages than I can keep up with!”
“Then this is the last one!” she yells, turning to face me.
“No. That’s the message, Corey, all right? I can’t go out with you. I cannot be seen in public with you. I do not need the media craziness that will come with being associated with you.”
“You’re Grace Veronica’s daughter. They photograph you getting a coffee, for fuck’s sake!”
“And that’s why I don’t need more attention!” She runs her fingers through her blonde hair. “I just don’t, okay?”
“Why? It makes no sense.”
“It does to me.” Her eyes soften and she wraps her arms around her waist. “It’s dangerous for me, okay? I can’t explain why, so you have to accept that as it is. You have to take my no for a no and just leave it alone.”
“See, that’s where the problem is. I can’t,” I say, moving
loser to her. She doesn’t move. “I wanted you the moment I saw you in the bar.
I wanted to fuck you, Leah. I still do. I’d love nothin’ more than to have your body beneath mine right fuckin’ now. But you turned me down with that sassy mouth of yours, and now I’m intrigued by you.”
“Intrigued by me? There’s nothing to be intrigued by. I’m pretty boring.”
“You’re wrong,” I mutter, dipping my face close to hers without touching her. “I want to get under your skin, darlin’. I want to consume you. Even if it’s only for a night. I want to finish what I set out to
start when I walked up to you in that bar.”
“You can’t.” She swallows.
“I can and I will,” I echo her words from earlier. “I won’t leave you alone, Leah. I will pursue you until I get what I want. Until I get you.”
“You won’t. Get me.”
I cup her jaw and brush my nose along it. “I want you, Leah.
And I always get what I want.”

Fate Accompli

Aegean Lovers # 1
By: M.M. Jaye
Releasing November 21st, 2014

Monica Mitchell flies all the way from Boston to Athens, Greece, not to get a tan but a very specific job. Because besides an MBA, this twenty-four-year old has a mission: to prove to Alex Argiros, the gorgeous Greek magnate, that she has now grown out of the habit of flashing her underwear and looking like a zombie flick castoff … in the presence of hundreds.

The catch? She has to hide who she is. Thankfully, not having seen him since her early teens helps, and soon she gets all she wants and so much more. Not only does Alex not connect his highly qualified new assistant to the disaster magnate of his distant past, but apart from his admiration, he also offers her his heart.

Now, Monica has a new mission: to keep it forever. But first she has to come clean before he finds out her connection to the bane of his existence. Because if he does, he’ll rightfully assume she plays the part of the Trojan Horse, and then he’ll shed the sleek businessman exterior, letting his hot-blooded Greek nature take over.

She knows he could destroy her.

She knows, yet she needs just a little longer to savor his searing kisses…

Now take out the tart. Let’s dig our teeth into that sin of a dough.” Jenny’s breathing was shallow.
Monica frowned.
We can’t have a picnic on the desk when they are in there,” she whispered. “What if they suddenly come out?”
Trust me. These meetings never last less than three hours and they’ve only been in there for one.”
What about the smell? It’s quite heavy!”
Heavier than Terzakis’ cigar? Please! By the stink of it he must have offered one the other two. They wouldn’t know if we boiled broccoli out here. Now bring it on,” Jenny rasped, breathing hard with anticipation.
Okay. I’ve got it!” Monica said in a conspiratorial tone and knelt behind the desk. “Come down here. I’ll give you a piece and if we hear them come out, we’ll pretend we lost one of your contacts.”
You’re a total nerd, you know that?” Jenny crouched beside Monica and there was more giggling. Monica felt like a naughty schoolgirl, which was quite foreign to her. But she couldn’t let Jenny down. Not after finding out she was expecting.
She opened the bottom drawer and took out a flat plastic container. Just by lifting the tight lid Jenny gasped. “Ooh, it smells so good.” Fishing out a large yellow napkin from her handbag, she handed her a piece of tart on it. Jenny took a huge bite and immediately moaned. “Oh, Monica, that’s orgasmic!”
Monica opened her mouth to respond, but she was cut short by a deep masculine voice. “When you finish giving each other orgasms, can I have the Latin America folder, please?”
Jenny froze mid-bite.
Monica whipped her head around and looked between the desk’s legs. There were more legs. Human legs. In crisp pants. And leather shoes. Alex’s shoes.
Oh crap!
She rose very slowly and raised her eyes until she met his. Taking in as much air as her lungs permitted, she blurted out—what else?—the plain truth.
Jenny’s pregnant. And famished. I made a pie—”
Tart!” Jenny piped in.
Monica’s eyes popped wide just as Alex’s narrowed. “Jenny craved the … tart. I thought we shouldn’t eat the tart on the desk. So we ate it under … it. Jenny liked the tart.” She gulped. “A lot, apparently. Hence the … um … orgasmic comment.” There. She’d said it. She hadn’t intended it to sound like a nursery rhyme—and did she have to use the word tart so many times? And in the same sentence with orgasmic?
Alex’s expression was inscrutable. He looked down at Jenny then back at Monica. “Can I have the Latin America file, please?” His tone was exactly the same as if nothing she’d said had registered. She only wished it were so.
Handing him a red folder this time, she felt like swallowing again, but her throat felt as dry as parched paper.
The meeting will be over soon. Can you make sure you have satisfied your … tart cravings by then?” He angled a glance down at crouching Jenny, who managed an awkward full-mouthed smile.
Of course,” Monica replied mechanically, then inwardly winced as she understood the double entendre of his choice of words.
Alex made a move to turn, then changed his mind and paused facing the wall.
And congratulations … about the baby,” he said—to the wall apparently— then walked into his office.

Blog Stop & Review: And So She Waited by Shakuita Johnson

And So She Waited

Shakuita Johnson

This is not a story about love, but a story about how love can consume you. Heart, body, and soul. A story of loving someone so much that the love you feel harms you.

Have you ever loved someone so much, that before you realized it, they owned half of your soul?

Raven Sinclair’s first love had always been ballet until she met Remy Peters. She fell hard and she fell fast and never looked back. He was everything she always believed she wanted but he had other plans.

Remy Peters didn’t believe in love and he wasn’t looking for it. He just wanted to have a good time in between classes and swim team. He’s been seeing Raven for over a year and a half and he’s not sure how it’s lasted this long. It’s not like he’s made any commitments but when he stumbles on the prettiest girl he’s ever seen, he knows it’s time to let Raven go.

Matthew Masterson has loved Raven since he first saw her in ballet class when they were five. They have been best friends ever since and he’s not content to stay there. He sees Remy for who he really is and wastes no time in telling Raven every chance he gets but is Raven his happy ever after or does fate have other plans?

Love, lies, and obsession…three lives bound by twisted desires for what they can’t have.

**Mature audiences only 18+…contains darker elements and no HEAs**

Raven needed to wake up and if Matt had to slap her a few times to ensure she did, he would do just that. The kid gloves were coming off. He had a future to protect, their future, and Remy Peters wasn’t in it. It was go-time. It was time she knew that he was the best thing for her. The person who loved her more than anyone else could.
"What's wrong with you?" Raven whispered.
"You! You're what's wrong with me! Can't you see what you mean to me? It's me you should be with. It's me who loves you. Remy loves no one but himself. He was all over Casey Summers last night and they went home together. Plus, everyone knows he's been trying to take the new Photography major transfer student home. What's her name, Stacey Nickels? It seems everyone but you sees Remy for what he truly is! A grade-A fucking asshole!"
"You're just jealous. You don't want me to be happy,” Raven sobbed. “You’ve had it out for Remy since the first time I introduced you. How can you call yourself my best friend? It's like I don't even know you anymore."
"Jealous! Jealous! I can’t— You think— What in the hell's happened to you? Are you really that naïve and gullible? Do you really think that you and Remy are going to get married and live happily-ever-after? It's been a year and a half, Raven. How many times has he taken you out where people could see you together? How many of his friends have you met? His parents? I'll tell you how many: none. Zero. He doesn't care about you. He got exactly what he wanted from you. SEX! That's all you ever were to him and all you will ever be. Honestly, I'm not sure why he hasn't dumped you yet!"
"He loves me, that's why,” Raven said under her breath. “He's going to meet me for lunch and we are going to discuss where our relationship is going." Her eyes were now brimming with unshed tears. "I told him I loved him."
"And did he say it back? No. He barely responds to your texts and you think after dropping the ‘L’ word that things will magically turn around? He's going to stop seeing other girls? Raven, sweetie, please wake up and see what's right in front of you. I don't want to see you hurt any more than you already are," Matt pleaded.
Raven let out a wicked laugh. "Oh, you don't want to see me hurt but you have no problem causing me pain? Fuck you, Matt. I don't need this from you. Remy loves me and if you won't support my relationship, then there's nothing left for us to say to each other."

Often there is quite a time lapse between reading a synopsis for a book that I'd like to review and actually reading the said book. So when I began “And So She Waited,” I jumped in blind. After a couple of pages my initial thought was... what am I reading?

There was nothing instantly likable about Raven, Remy and Matt. They all oozed “attitude and aggression” and at times act and speak in a manner more akin to immature adolescents that young adults. In theory, these three talented and privileged people should have the world at their feet-everything to gain, nothing to loose. However, the author shows us an example of why these young people act and behave like they do; how our upbringing shapes us into being the people we are in both a positive and negative way. We learn that one young woman is struggling to cope with the world that surrounds her, creating a domino effect which results in this tragic story of unrequited love.

My overall feeling is that I appreciate what the author is trying to achieve with Raven, Remy and Matt. Their characters need to be further developed to really fully understand the reasons behind their motivations, along with those in the supporting roles. There are too many unknown factors right now, especially with Remy and Matt.

The twist towards the end it is incredibly sad, however I applaud the fact that the author doesn't give a defined ending. It is very thought provoking, leaving us the readers to think and decide what may or may not have happened next. This is going to stay with me for a while...
