Only, the job has its challenges and she attracts them like a bee to honey...
One calamity after another, I felt pity for poor Caity trying to juggle her new job whilst dealing with ongoing issues which have followed her to the emerald isle. Equally, I could empathise with her dealing with the pressure of trying to impress her sister at a time in her life when her confidence and self-esteem are at an all-time low. Therefore as the novel progresses, it's heart-warming to see how little by little she learns from her mistakes and feels more comfortable with the job she is doing.
Caity may be the star of the show, but there's a notable supporting cast; Rachel, Gretchen and Declan along with the lovely Irish backdrop create a light-hearted fun novel. The inclusion of the search for Caity and Rachel's Irish ancestry is a delightful side plot which I expect to see further development of future familial discoveries in future instalments of this series.
