Book Blog Hop 13th-19th April 2018

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

Question: Is there a fictitious town in a book that you would love to live in? What makes it appealing? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

Answer: I read so many books and have been lucky enough to visit many places over the years so I can't think of anywhere either fictional or realife I'd like to visit based on a book setting. I love the feeling of nostalgia, if a book is set in a place I've visited. I'm racking my brains to think of somewhere but I'm coming up blank.

  1. Being there when you are reading the book and enjoying that time is fun.

    1. I agree. I just haven't found a place I want to be beyond the reading experience. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. That's completely understandable! When I was first thinking of an answer to the question, I couldn't think of anywhere either. I did eventually think of an answer, but I was drawing a major blank when considering where I'd like to live. Sometimes it's fun to experience the towns whilst we read the books and immerse ourselves in the story, but then it's nice to come back to reality and live our own lives in our worlds.

If you're interested in checking out my own answer, please feel free to do so. I love interacting with other people and hearing what they think! http://inkblottings.com/book-blogger-hop-april-13th-fictional-towns/

No pressure though, and thank you for sharing your answer. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who struggled to come up with an answer to this question! Sometimes there are too many to consider that it feels like there are none at all.

    1. Thanks for your response. Yes, it's good to know someone felt the same although you came up with an answer in the end.

  3. That's understandable. I had a hard time, too.
